Our Nursery Group
At Hardings Nursery & Pre-School we offer children the opportunity to stay with us for their Nursery Year and join our ‘Nursery Group’. Increasingly families are choosing this option as an alternative to the traditional Maintained Nursery School option, their reasons include:

- We follow the same Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum as Maintained Nursery Schools
- We have a high staff:child ratio
- We offer a highly nurturing environment
- We are an established setting with experienced, qualified staff team and a welcoming, friendly feel
- Our communication goes ‘above & beyond’ expectation with our Co-owners contactable ‘out of hours’
- We offer 3 & 4 year old funded places (Universal & 30 hours)
- We specialise in Early Education
We are part of a bigger group of Pre-Schools including Attimore Barn Pre-School, The Commons Nursery & Pre-School, Knightsfield Nursery & Pre-school & Four Seasons Nursery & Pre-School, all of which have very good reputations for quality & service locally.
Gaining a place at a School Nursery does not guarantee you a place at that school for Reception
However, this decision is as individual as each family and if you chose to move to a local Nursery School, we will support that decision working closely with you & the Nursery School to ensure a smooth transition.
